Privacy Policy
This policy explains how Long Term Disability Appeal handles the information you provide.
What we collect
The enquiry form on this site is switched off. It has nowhere to send a message, so it cannot be submitted, and while that is the case nothing you type into it is collected: not your name, not your phone number, not your email address, and not your message. None of it leaves your own browser and none of it is stored anywhere.
That is a fact about the form being switched off, not a standing property of this site. A submission made through an open form is stored, and the version of this page that renders when the form is open says so here, in this same section, rather than leaving you to find out later. Everything in this section is about the form. This site does collect something on every page whatever the form is doing, and that is described under "Site analytics" below.
How we use it
Because nothing can be submitted, there is nothing to use and nothing to pass on. While the form is switched off this site does not pass anything to an attorney, to a law firm, or to any other third party, and sending the form cannot put you in contact with a lawyer, because it cannot be sent. We do not sell your information. This describes the site as it stands today; if the form is opened later, this page will say what happens to a submission before it does.
Where it is stored and who else handles it
Nothing can be submitted, so nothing is sent to any of this. There is no stored record of a form on this site that cannot be submitted, because nothing ever reaches the service that would store one.
How long we keep it
Nothing can be submitted, so there is nothing being kept and no period to state.
How to have it deleted
There is nothing to delete while the form cannot be submitted. If you have written to team@longtermdisabilityappeal.com directly, that email sits in our mailbox like any other email, and you can ask us to delete it.
What you can ask us to do
You can ask us for a copy of anything we hold about you, ask us to correct it, ask us to delete it, or withdraw your consent, by emailing team@longtermdisabilityappeal.com. Several US states give their residents further rights over personal information. This site has not been reviewed against any particular state's law, so treat this section as an account of what we will do when you ask, not as a statement of what any law entitles you to.
Site analytics
Every page on this site, including this one, loads a script from Cloudflare that reports that the page was viewed and how quickly it loaded. This happens on every build of the site, whether the enquiry form is open or switched off, and it is separate from anything to do with the form. Cloudflare's own documentation describes the beacon as collecting timing metrics through the browser's Performance API and states that it does not collect visitors' personal data. What reaches us is counts, grouped by country, page path, referring site, device type, browser and operating system. Requesting that script, like requesting any file from any server, tells the server answering it your IP address.
